Psider is designed to help automate the creation of information asset registers and standardise the description of PSI.

Psider does this by reading metadata and analysing content to create new metadata. Psider refers to an accepted ontolgy like IPSVI to align description with accepted categories and terminology. Psider creates an information asset register that conforms to the standards set down by OPSI.
